While all of these products can be used daily on their own to treat your skin, follow these steps to achieve the full hammam experience.
Step 1:
Run hot water to generate steam and open your pores.
Step 2:
Take the time to soften your skin with a warm bath or shower.
Step 3: Cleanse
Product: Black Soap & Kessa
Wet the kessa (glove), put a dollop of soap directly into the kessa, seal the container*. Apply it to the skin with moderate pressure using upward and downward strokes. Allow the soap to sit on your skin for about 2 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Rinse kessa with hot water and hang to dry.
*Be sure to reseal the container, as the soap will melt if exposed to water.
Step 4: Detox
Product: Ghassoul (Moroccan Natural Lava Clay)
Apply the Ghassoul to your freshly cleansed skin. Gently massage the face and body for 1-2 minutes using small circular motions. Apply to body, hair ends and can be used after the Prickly Pear Oil on the face focusing on dry spots and around the lips and any areas with deep wrinkles. This nourishing and healing elixir that soothes heals and hydrates.
